FFT Work Helper – Privacy Policy

FFT Work Helper ("the app") is an internal work tool used by the solar installation crews and electricians of Futurefrontier Technology Ltd. ("we", "us"), which operates the app. The app is not for the general public: accounts are created by our office, and there is no sign-up inside the app.
Information we collect
- Account information – your username, name, role and team, created by our office so you can sign in and see the jobs assigned to you.
- Precise location – read once, only when you tap Departed on a job and only while the app is open. It is used to estimate your arrival time for the text message you send to the customer. The app does not track your location in the background and does not store a location history.
- Photos and documents – installation photos and job documents you choose to take or upload for a job. They are stored with that job's records.
- Job and customer information – addresses, and for authorized roles only, customer names and phone numbers needed to do the job. This information comes from our office systems; the app displays it and does not collect it from you.
How we use it
Only to run the app's work features: showing your assigned jobs, recording job progress, photos and documents, and preparing the departure text message. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Third parties
- Mapbox – shows maps and calculates the driving time for the arrival estimate. When you tap Departed, your coordinates and the job site's coordinates are sent to Mapbox for that calculation. The Mapbox map component may also send de-identified location and usage telemetry to Mapbox; you can opt out through the map's attribution (ⓘ) button. See Mapbox's privacy policy.
- Hosting provider – our servers, which store the data above, are hosted by a third-party cloud provider under contract with us.
Retention and deletion
Job records, photos and documents are kept for as long as they are needed for the job, warranty and legal record-keeping. When you stop working with us, your account is deactivated by our office. To ask for a copy or deletion of your personal information, contact us at the address below.
Security
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Your sign-in token is kept in the device's secure storage.
Children
The app is a work tool for adult employees and contractors and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
